Kenneth Davids Consulting assigned a green sample of the 2013-14 crop of the Doi Chaang Semi-Washed Peaberry brought to a medium roast a rating of 90.5 in March 2014, with the following citation.

“At a medium roast the tested sample of the Doi Chaang Semi-Washed Peaberry 2013-14 crop displayed a tart, crisply drying acidity and lightly syrupy, lively mouthfeel. Very sweet in the cup. Notes of caramel, dark chocolate, blood orange, vanilla, and lavendar-like flowers in aroma and flavor. Orange, chocolate and flowers carried into sweet, rich though slightly drying finish.”
